Our New Catskills Gold Real Peppermint Beeswax Lip Balm is a combination of our original 3 ingredients infused with certified organic peppermint oil. This is a mild flavoring method with virtually all of the ingredients being locally sourced Catskills beeswax, Shea Butter and Vitamin E oil.
Peppermint essential oil possesses healing qualities for many aliments including nausea, heartburn, stomach aches, sore throats and coughs. Beyond aroma therapeutic abilities it also can act as a natural antibiotic and pain reliever through topical application. We decided to use a very low amount of this organic oil to produce a very mild aroma and taste.
The main three ingredients in this lip balm cover all the bases to replenish dry lips and provide protection from the harsh winter environment of the Catskills Mountain Range. Our local beeswax provides a sealing protection from the cold dry air. Organic Shea Butter provides a natural, thorough moisturization of the lips. Finally, the antioxidant properties of vitamin E oil provide a replenishment to the lips and restore smoothness. We have created this lip balm to provide a soothing flavor while at the same time sticking to the extremely hydrating/replenishing formula of our original version.
